This is another OC that's been floating around somewhere inside my computer for a while. Her name is Ashe.
Ashe: Is a Yoruba (West Africa area tribe) term that refers to personal power. More specifically, it refers to the personal creative power that each person has. More info later, gotta run right now.
In Brazil, its spelled "Axé", although you would pronounce it the same way. Its used primarily as a greeting in Candomblé, an Afro-Brazilian religion of Yoruba (and other African diasporic) origins, though with some influence of Catholicism and Native American religions. Being Brazilian myself, I'm fairly mixed (My dad is of African origins, and my mom, Sicilian, Portuguese, and Native American), but I've always wondered from what part of Africa my father's ancestors were from, although for some reason I presume they are Bantu. Now back to the drawing! It looks real nice, I'm especially liking the pose and the detailed dress. Good job!

We understand that each day you may not be able to check out each and every one of the pieces, everyone has their own things going on. We just ask that you make an attempt to help support the growing Literature community.
