Enter Jonas and Amelie Dimaggio.

Jonas Dimaggio is 42, a widower, father of one, past his prime and looking forward to a life of retirement, peace and quiet in the bustling Clockwork City. He likes reading. He likes relaxation. He likes a good black tea. He likes the bustle of a city built on steam, there's a sort of stability that it gives. He's an upper middle class fellow, the type of man who is wealthy enough to pay for Amelie's schooling, or the Fiore Del Sole, his skyskipper. Yet, he is by no means royalty/upperclass/noble.

He works as a steamship repairman and safety inspector now and is well liked by the locals. He gives a few kids lessons in the proper art of fencing now and then, but most people know him for his stories.

Any one willing to listen will usually hear the stories of Jonas' swashbuckling in the unclaimed skies of Clockwork city as he and his band of pirates paved the way for a new generation of high-skies adventure. These are surely exaggerated since sky-ships have been around less than 10 years. But that doesn't quite mean the stories are not true. Nonetheless, he has quite a knack for wit and drama.

Now, Amelie is a different story.

Amelie was raised by a man known for telling fantastic stories. She's grown up to be a wonderfully dramatic and flashy person, a person who would do well in the world of stage acting. Her father, Jonas insists that she gets is from her mom's side of the family. She loves the romantic idea of escaping and sailing the skies above, free from the world below.

She's a friendly and intelligent girl, but young and impulsive. Jonas doesn't quite like her 'scandalous' style of clothing either. In many ways, she's your average 18 year old girl. Still, she gets along with her father very well.

The reason one or both of them will be fighting for their lives over then next few months will just have to wait until my intro comic.

The Fiore Del Sole (Jonas' Ship)

Jonas Dimaggio
Age: 42
Occupation: Repairman/Airship safety inspector. (formerly swordsman/SEA-pirate)
Ship: Fiore Del Sole (1-2 person sky skipper) he treats this a lot like an older man might treat a classic car.
Allegiance: Jonas will be fighting for himself and his family. He will be joining the Rogue Skies as the 'captain' of his sky skipper, The Fiore Del Sole.
Skills: Expert Level Swordsman, some ship repair, wit, not a bad throwing arm either.
Weapons: While he Jonas is armed, he's old. His greatest weapon is his creativity and wit which he uses more often then not to get out of bad situations. However, he does carry four collapsible rapiers, each 3/4 the length of a regular rapier to make them easier to conceal under his overcoat. Each arm conceals a series (4-5) throwing knives attached to a thin but strong metal cord. He can use this for fighting/other various uses that have a tendency to arise in a OCT.
Other Notes: He's somewhat nearsighted, hence the glasses. Should he fight, he will usually take of his glasses and overcoat. He's almost always smiling, and very slow to get angry.

Amelie Dimaggio
Age: 18
Occupation: Student
Ship: Fiore Del Sole (technically, he father would NEVER let her drive it)
Allegiance: Undeclared
Skills: Wit, dramatic-flair, a good actor, not bad at acrobatics, unnaturally good at throwing things quite accurately (usually rock, blunt objects, bricks, etc).
Weapons: Nothing, unless you count feminine wiles, which she doesn't.
Other Notes: Gets along with her father. Generally friendly. Her favorite color is red. Wears a necklace that was her mother's and got her bracelets from her dad and as a birthday gift.
